- Yes! In fact, we encourage you to keep your phone case on your phone while you use any of the UV Soap Ray devices. Most of the bacteria on our hands is passed to our phone cases. Each UV Soap Ray unit was designed to fit your phone with the case on.

Question 2: How do I charge my phone while using the UV Soap lamp?

- Each unit has charging capabilities. You can charge and sanitize simultaneously, and when the sanitizing cycle is complete, your phone will continue to charge. The units also has a built-in Qi charger for smartphones that have the capability to charge wirelessly. This gives you the opportunity to sanitize two items at once!

Question 3: Is this device safe for my phone?

- It uses UV-C light. UV light kills germs but doesn't harm you or your device. This light is completely safe for anything you place inside - except germs. UV light can potentially cause discoloration with continuous, prolonged exposure to lightly pigmented plastics. However, it would take many continuous hours of exposure to have this effect, similar to leaving your phone exposed to the sun over a consistently prolonged duration. Our devices keep your phones safe while killing germs and bacteria.

Question 4: Would I be able to hear my notifications?

- Yes, these units were designed and built with special acoustic outlets that allow you to hear notifications and alarms while your phone or tablet is being sanitized.

Question 5: Will the device sanitize anything else?

- Yes, you can sanitize just about anything. If you can on the sanitation pad, the device will sanitize it. You can also use the rechargeable sanitizing lamp to sanitize your surroundings like in the home, car or office.
